Privacy policy

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter (such as your name, phone number, email, budget and message) and, where available, the advertising campaign or page that brought you to this site.

We use this to respond to you, arrange viewings, and understand which marketing channels work. We store it in our database and limit access to authorised staff. We do not sell your personal data.

Your browser stores a small record of campaign parameters (such as utm_source) so we can attribute your enquiry. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your name, email and any optional details you give (such as phone, location and budget), when and where you signed up, and the campaign that brought you. We use this to send the Doughfins Property Brief, about one email a month. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and we will stop sending immediately. Subscribing is separate from making a property enquiry.

Reading activity. To understand which guides and properties are useful, we record which of our pages a browser views, linked to a random anonymous ID stored in your browser (we do not store your IP address for this). If you subscribe or enquire, we may connect that activity to your record so we can follow up on what interests you. Clicks on links in our emails are also recorded.
